The Thalia Street Project grew out of an assignment for a local newspaper
to do a weekly series on the local kids, who surf and skimboard at Laguna's beaches.

Thalia Street is pretty much 'Locals Only'. The city sets it aside for the board sports, and the tourists go elsewhere.

These are some of the kids who are lucky enough to have the Pacific Ocean for their own personal playground.
